Along with Gerry Spitzer, Richard founded Questar frontier Asset management in 2022, after a distinguished career working at major financial companies, including UBS Wealth Management for 10 years, Merrill Lynch for 21 years, and Deloitte & Touche for 2 years. Richard began his career at Deloitte, where he earned his CPA accreditation.

At Questar, Richard directs all the investing activities for our clients – fixed income, options, equities, structured products, and private equity and hedge funds. Questar clients enjoy the unique access of speaking directly to Richard as their portfolio manager, tapping into his insights and experience of having run an in-house portfolio for 20+ years.

He earned a BBA degree at the University of Memphis and an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin.
